Did you know: 2 Types of Portosystemic Shunts

Did you know there are 2 types of portosystemic shunts- intraheptic and extrahepatic. Intraheptic shunts are found within the liver parenchyma, whereas extrahepatic shunts are occur outside of the liver parenchyma.
