Dogs have an incredibly acute sense of smell. It is amazing that they can smell a chemical in the breath isoprene that signifies a low blood sugar. Medical assistance dogs are able to smell so many different things to alert their humans to take action. Whether it be detection of diabetes, cancer, seizures, or possibly even Parkinson's disease, dogs never cease to amaze me.
